It’s officially pumpkin patch szn!
I’ve rounded up a list of all Cincinnati pumpkin patches for fall 2023. There’s a pumpkin patch that’s perfect for everyone on this list. From farms with so many fun fall attractions that it will take all day to your simple, hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin straight off the vine variety. And this year, I’ve included pumpkin patches that also have apple picking – for the full fall experience.

The pumpkin patches are all within about an hour and a half drive of Cincinnati. Who knew we had so many great pumpkin spots so close to the Queen City?

Blooms & Berries Farm Market
Fall on the Farm at Blooms and Berries in Loveland runs daily from 9am to 7pm September 16 to October 31, 2023. This is one of the largest pumpkin patch attractions in town (and one that we frequent). there is a lot to do for little kids, including hayrides, giant inflatable pumpkin, petting farm, corn maze, bee train, the Barnyard 500 Trike Track and more.
Timed-entry tickets must be purchased ahead of time, and ticket prices vary by day and week. Special offers include a weekday season pass, Toddler Tuesday with half-priced admission for kids ages 2-4 with a paying adult, and Grandparent Thursday with half-priced admission for a grandparent with paying grandchild.

Young’s Jersey Dairy
Fall Farm Pumpkin Fun at Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs runs September 16 through October 29, 2023. Pumpkin fun includes pick-your-own pumpkin, wagon rides, corn maze & playland, and more! This awesome spot is about an hour and half drive from Cincinnati.
The pumpkin patch is open daily from 11am to 6pm. The cost is per pumpkin, not per pound, and you can cut your own pumpkin right off the vine! Cowvin’s Corny Maze and Playland is also open from 11am to 6pm and is $9.50 per person (age 4 and under are free). Wagon rides to and from the pumpkin patch and corn maze is included in the ticket price. Haunted Hayrides for grownups and bigger kids run every Friday and Saturday from 7:30pm to 10pm.
Non-seasonal attractions include the brand new Dairy Store (where they make cheese and 35+ flavors of ice cream in house from the cows’ milk!), fast slide, mini golf & driving range, a kiddie corral for kids under 48 inches, a barrel ride, feeding the goats, and more!

Neltner’s Farm
Neltner’s Farm Fall Fest runs September 30 through October 31, 2023. During the week, the farm is open from 9am to 6pm, and 10am to 6pm on the weekends. Attractions include pick-your-own pumpkin patch, model train display, toddler and big corn mazes, corn play pit, and petting zoo. Additional attractions are open on Saturday and Sunday, as well as live music and special events.
There is no charge for admission to Fall Fest during the week, however, some of the attractions have an additional fee, such as the corn maze and barrel train. Weekend admission is $7 per person for ages 3 and older.

Niederman Family Farm
The 2023 Fall Festival at Niederman Family Farm in Liberty Township opens September 22 and runs through October 29, 2023. The farm is open Thursday through Sunday; hours vary by day. Timed-entry tickets can be purchased online ahead of time for $15, or admission is $18 at the gate.
2023 Fall Festival attractions include wagon rides, a corn maze, jumping pillow, kids tiny house, climbing hill, human fooseball, and more. Pumpkins are already off the vine and can be found in pumpkins paradise. Pumpkins are already off the vine, and can be purchased for $0.50/lb.

Shaw Farms
Shaw Farms Fall Festival 2023 will run daily from 9am to 6pm (5pm on Sundays) beginning the third weekend in September. The festival includes two interactive playgrounds and farm animals at no charge. The playground includes life-sized scenes from classic cartoons and fairytales.
Attractions such as hayrides, the corn maze and pedal carts are available at an additional cost. Tickets can be purchased online. Pumpkins are already off the vine and available for purchase near the market.

Burger Farm & Garden Center
Burger Farm’s Fall Fun at the Farm runs every weekend from 10am to 6pm starting September 30 through October 28. Admission is $15 per person ($12 for seniors 65 and older). Children under 2 are free.
This year is Burger Farm’s 50th Fall Fun at the Farm! Attractions include hayrides, puppet show, “vine climb” climbing wall, both adult and child size peddle carts, mini zip line and more. Some attractions, such as pony rides and paintball shooting gallery are available at an additional cost. We found that there was a large variety of attractions for both little and big kids.
During the week, hayrides are available Tuesday through Friday from 1:30pm to 5pm. The cost is $5 per person age 2 and older and includes admission to Pumpkin Land story book walk, the giant straw castle and the play set area. Pumpkins are already off the vine and are available to purchase, along with fall flowers, such as mums.

Country Pumpkins
Fall Festival at Country Pumpkins in Dry Ridge, KY opens September 9 and runs through October 30, 2023. The farm is open during the week from 4pm to 7pm Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (closed Tuesday). On weekends, they are open 2pm to 7pm on Friday, 10am to 7pm on Saturday, and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday. Rides are only open after 5pm on Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Country Pumpkins has many fun, fall attractions including hayrides, barrel train, corn maze, new indoor loft play area, petting zoo, and a chunkin’ pumpkin launcher. There is a concessions area, with hot food available on the weekends. And for those looking for the perfect photo, several photo spots are available – including a pumpkin house photo spot!
Tickets can be purchased for individual attractions or as bundles online.

Schappacher Farms
Schappacher Farms came recommended by one of my close friends. Pumpkin Season 2023 begins September 23 through October 29. The farm is open weekends from 10am to 6pm.
This family farm in Wilmington, Ohio has pick your own pumpkins from the field, as well as free attractions like hayrides, corn maze, grain bin basketball, corn kernel pit, and more. Rides on Timmy the Train are available for $2 a ride. And they have the cutest cow named Cowlvin!
Schappacher Farms is located at 3068 W. State Route 73, Wilmington, OH 45177
Burwinkel Farms
Fall Fun at Burwinkel Farms (Ross location) is open daily from 10am to 6pm starting September 23 through October 31, 2023. Attractions include sunflower hayrides & walking path, pumpkin patch, corn maze, farm animals, scarecrow search, corn pool, and more. Hayrides are available on Saturday and Sunday; additional weekday hayride times will be announced on the farm’s Facebook page.
Two packages are available this year for Fall Fun. The hayride option is $11 per person (children under 2 are free). This ticket includes all attractions and a roundtrip hayride to the pumpkin patch. Again, the hayride option is available weekends only, with additional weekdays TBA. The walking option is $6 per person, and includes all attractions, but no hayride. Strollers and wagons can be used on the walking path to the pumpkin patch.

Big Tree Plantation
Fall Festival at Big Tree Plantation is open four weekends in 2023 beginning September 30 through October 22. Saturday hours are 10am to 6pm and Sunday hours are 12pm to 6pm. Admission is $16 per person, and kids age 2 & under are free.
Activities include a hayride to the pumpkin patch, a 5-acre maze, axe throwing station, corn bin, tube swing, straw mountain, cart ride for kids, and more!

Garver Family Farm Market
The pick your own pumpkin patch at Garver Family Farm Market is open daily through October 31. You can pull pumpkins straight off the vine from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
The farm will also host its annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, September 30, 2023. This free event includes the pumpkin patch, hayrides, activities for the kids, food trucks and more.

Brown’s Family Farm Market
Fall Family Weekends at Brown’s Family Farm Market begin September 16 and run through October 29, 2023. Admission is free! Hayrides to the pumpkin patch and barrel train rides run from 11am to 6pm on weekends only. The farm will also have food trucks on site during Family Fall Weekends. The farm is also open for play and free activities during the week.

Waynesville Fall Fest
Located less than an hour’s drive from Cincinnati, Waynesville Fall Fest has a huge selection of attractions you don’t typically see at other pumpkin patches. This includes a gigantic mining-themed play set, ghost town village, mini golf courses, yard games, disc golf, and more. Pumpkins can be purchased for an additional cost – but can be enjoyed right away at the pumpkin painting station.
Waynesville Fall Fest runs weekends only from September 16 to October 29, 2023. Operating hours are from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and noon to 6pm on Sunday. Admission is $13 per adult, $11 for children 10 & under, and free admission to ages 2 & under.

Jackson Family Farm
Fall on Jackson Family Farm opens Sunday, September 24, and runs weekends through October 22, 2023. The farm is open from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sunday. General admission is $15, and ages 2 & under are free. Admission is CASH only.
The owner was the principal at my mom’s school before she retired, and this event first began as a field trip for the students. Today you can enjoy a hayride to feed the farm animals, pumpkin cannon, corn maze, sunflower patch, pumpkin jumping pad, hay tower & slides, and more! Pumpkins are available for purchase.

Erwin Farms & Corn Maze
Come Harvest A Memory at Erwin Farms & Corn Maze runs from September 9 to October 28, 2023. The farm is open weekends from 10am to 9pm on Saturday and from noon to 6pm on Sunday. Admission is $8 per person, and ages 3 & under are free.
Attractions include a 5-acre corn maze (of course!), locally-grown pumpkins & gourds, barnyard play area, apple sling shot, corn pit, CornCob Express, and more!

McMonigle Farms
McMonigle Farms Pumpkin Fest in Middletown is open weekends from noon to 6pm starting September 30 through October 29, 2023. Attractions include hayrides, u-pick pumpkins, Big Foot sightings, a free straw maze, cow train rides, corn box play area, sunflower patch, NEW haunted shack, and more!

Middle Springs Farm
Fall Farm Fun at Middle Springs Farm is back again this year from September 9 through October 29, 2023. The farm is open weekends from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and noon to 6pm on Sunday.
Attractions include a pumpkin patch, hayrides, corn maze & scavenger hunt, a sunflower field and a zinnia field, farm animals, a games and play area, and more! Tickets are $7.50 per person (ages 2 and under are free), and can be purchased online or at the farm.

Simmons Farms
Come enjoy Fall Festival at Simmons Farms every weekend from September 30 to October 29, 2023. The festival runs from 10am to 7pm on Saturday and noon to 5pm on Sunday. Attractions include a pumpkin patch, hayground (a playground made out of hay bales!), corn maze, and more.
Tickets are $5 per person (ages 2 and under are free), and a Fall Pass is $25. Tickets and passes can be purchased on their website.

Irons Fruit Farm
If you’re looking for the classic pumpkin patch experience of riding the hayride to the field and picking a pumpkin from the field, Irons Fruit Farm is your spot. This is where we took our son as a baby for his first pumpkin patch experience. They also have the best apple cider donuts IMO.
Hayrides to the pumpkin patch run from 11am to 5pm every weekend starting September 23 through October 29, 2023. Tickets to the corn maze are available for an additional cost.
The orchard is open for u-pick apples during the weekend in August and September. Check their Facebook page for weekly updates on hours and availability.
Irons Fruit Farm is located at 1640 Stubbs Mills Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036


Hidden Valley Orchard
HVO pumpkins and hayrides begin September 23, 2023, and run through the end of October. Hayrides are $5, and run every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Pumpkins vary by size.
Great Pumpkin Days at Hidden Valley Orchards will also be held on October 7-8, 2023. Details are yet to be announced for 2023, but I will update as soon as more information is available.
Apple U-Pick dates and apple-themed events are announced on the HVO website and social channels.

Evans Orchard and Cider Mill
Fall Fun at Evans Orchard begins September 9, 2023. The orchard is open Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 12pm to 6pm (closed Monday). Different packages are available for Fall Fun activities, which includes the adorable play area and barnyard, hayride, corn maze, mega tube slide, and more.
The pumpkin patch opens on September 16. U-Pick apples and asian pears dates are listed on the orchard’s website.

McGlasson Farms
McGlassen Farms in Hebron, Kentucky is now open daily for U-Pick apples, and soon for pumpkins! Hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. The farm asks that the last departure for the fields is one hour before closing.

A&M Farm Orchard
A&M Farm Orchard is currently open for for already picked apples. The farm expects U-Pick apples to be available the end of September, with U-Pick pumpkins coming soon! Check A&M Farm Orchard’s Facebook page for updates.

Wesler Orchards & Farm Market
Wesler Orchards Pumpkin Patch events runs Saturdays – September 30, October 7, and October 14, 2023, from 9am to 4pm. These events includes U-pick apples, U-pick pumpkins, bounce house, apple cannon, wagon rides and more. Wagon rides to the pumpkin patch (pricing TBD) include a pint of their apple cider. The corn maze is free!

Harvest Festival at Green Living by Design – October 7
Green Living by Design will be holding its first Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 9am to 6:30pm. There will be pumpkins, local farmers, food trucks, local vendors, fall inspired desserts, and more.

Fall Farm Festival at Liberty Farm Market – October 8
The Fall Farm Festival at Liberty Farm Market will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from noon to 6pm. There will be a pumpkin patch, bounce house, mechanical bull, wine tastings, food trucks, and more. Admission is free, but parking is $5.

Operation Pumpkin Festival 2023 – October 13-15
Operation Pumpkin Festival is back for its 12th year in downtown Hamilton, Ohio. The festival will run October 13-15, from 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
Known for their sculpted pumpkins displays, Operation Pumpkin Festival will also feature rides, local vendors, live music and a pet costume parade on Sunday.

The Great Pumpkin Fest in West Chester – October 14
The Great Pumpkin Fest in West Chester will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm at Keehner Park. This family-friendly event includes costume contests for kids and pets, pumpkin carving contest, a puppet show, tractor rides, and more.

Circleville Pumpkin Show – October 18-21
The Circleville Pumpkin Show comes every year during the third week of October (October 18-21, 2023). Festival hours are from 10am to 10pm Wednesday through Saturday.
The Circleville Pumpkin Show is reminiscent of a county fair (think pageants, parades, and contests) meets anything and everything PUMPKINS. There will be live music, contents, rides, parades and yes, giant pumpkins. I have never been, but I would expect a GOURD time (had to!). This is Ohio’s oldest and largest festival, so I’m sure they have the pumpkins + good times formula down pat.

Harvest Hootenanny in Delhi Township – October 21
The Harvest Hootenanny in Delhi Township is a family-friendly event held the third of October. This year’s event will be held on October 21, 2023 from 10am to 3pm at Story Woods Park. Entertainment includes a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, face painting, as well as local craft vendors, food trucks and beer.

Pumpkin Festival at Weber’s Farm Market – October 21-22
The Pumpkin Festival at Weber’s Farm Market will be held the weekend of October 21-22, 2023, from 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. Admission is $7 per person, but children 12 and under are free. Admission is CASH only.
The festival features live music, contests (such as the pumpkin donut eating contest), demonstrations (such as chainsaw wood carving), and nearly 200 craft and food vendors. Kid activities include rides, a petting zoo, face painting, scavenger hunt, face painting, straw maze, and rides to the pumpkin patch (weather permitting). Pumpkins will be for sale as well.

Fall Fest at Washington Park in OTR – October 28-29
Don’t miss the family fun at Fall Fest in Washington Park on October 28-29, 2023, from 11am to 4pm. The fest will include entertainment for all ages, local craft and baked good vendors, and more. There will also be a free pumpkin patch and animal encounters for the kiddos.
