Inwood Park

The new PNC Grow Up Great® Playground is open and ready for play

This newly renovated playground at Inwood Park has one of the largest playground areas for the littlest little ones. And don’t worry – there’s still an area for bigger kids to play too. Designed with input from children and accessibility experts and built with a grant from PNC, this innovative playground is best enjoyed on a cooler morning with a few clouds in the sky.

Swaim Park

And the sandbox has a built-in digger, too.

Swaim Park is a lovely, well-manicured park with a nice playground located next to downtown Montgomery, Ohio. This playground is a great spot to take toddlers and primary school aged kids to run and play. Plus it’s got a sandbox with a really cool sit-on digger.

Gower Park

The perfect balance of playground and nature in Sharonville

With a large playground and a cute little creek to explore, Gower Park in Sharonville is a great park to spend a few hours. Gower Park boasts a large playground for big kids, a toddler playground, swings, and new features for this summer. And did I mention there’s a creek right next to the playground? It’s perfect for those who want to take the kids creeking, but aren’t super outdoorsy.

Sharon Woods Harbor Playground

A playground, a splash pad, a creek… and a saber-toothed tiger?

Sharon Woods Harbor has become one of our favorite spots this summer with a large playground, toddler area, splash pad, man-made creek and saber-toothed tiger (yes, you read that correctly). There are still pieces of the prehistoric theme, such as the large rock formation with saber-toothed tiger on top, dating back from our childhood. The playground itself however, is from a much more modern era.

Sharon Woods Harbor is located within Sharon Woods, which is part of the Great Parks of Hamilton County. The best way to access this area of Sharon Woods is from the main Kemper Road entrance.

While you wouldn’t typically think to look for a playground under a bridge, the 1000 Hands Every Child’s Playground at Sawyer Point is one playground you don’t want to miss. Located under the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge, this steamboat-themed playground is not only great for kids of all ages, but was designed for kids of all abilities.

Schappacher Park

A great playground for the littlest and biggest of kids

This newer playground in Deerfield Township is a great spot for crawlers and bigger kids. This playground has artificial turf, but it’s also somewhat shaded by the large oak trees throughout the park. Schappacher Park also has a dog run park for your furry kids.
